Meet Dr. Jackson

Dr. Keith Daniel Jackson

Dr. Jackson is originally from the Atlanta area but is thrilled to now call Charlottesville home. After completing eight years of military service at Fort Bragg, NC and Fort Benning, GA, he is honored to be part of the CVOFS team. Dr. Jackson graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a degree in chemistry. He then accepted a U.S. Army scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and earned a DMD in 2013.

After graduating from Penn, Dr. Jackson was commissioned into active duty in the Army and began residency at Womack Army Medical Center. He earned his certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2017 and later served as a staff oral surgeon at Martin Army Community Hospital. While at Fort Benning, Dr. Jackson also served as an oral surgery mentor to residents of the Army’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and was an Assistant Professor with the Postgraduate Dental College of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He also spent time with a field unit in the 14th Combat Support Hospital.

Dr. Jackson is committed to the highest quality of patient care and specializes in dental extractions, dental implants, anesthesia, bone grafting, pre-prosthetic surgery, orthognathics, trauma, and oral pathology. He holds privileges at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital. Additionally, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and member of the American Dental Association. State and local memberships include the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the Charlottesville-Albemarle Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and two daughters. He is also a college football fan, aviation enthusiast, and travel hobbyist.
